Prairie Grove is in the Main Street Network of Cities, and organized through the Arkansas Dept. of Heritage. The Main Street organization has no direct affiliation with the City, although the City provides some funding and has close ties with its roots and continued operation. The City initiated the original application for inclusion into the Main Street Network in 2017 and the City was accepted in 2018 and has continued to be represented on the Board of Directors as well as budgeting for annual funding.
