Prairie Grove has excellent parks, with the Aquatic Park drawing thousands of guests every year. New in 2022 a new splash pad is being added tot he park.

Delford Rieff Park has excellent baseball facilities and over 35 teams participate in summer ball programs.  The park also includes a walking track, sand volleyball, Murph Pair Skate Park, and the Prairie Grove Aquatic Park.

The City's newest park, is Muddy Fork Park, located in the NW part of Prairie Grove, youth soccer, walking trails, a dog park, and coming soon new restrooms and playgrounds make this a beautiful park to relax. 

Mock Park, a small but quaint oasis in downtown Prairie Grove.  The Prairie Grove Farmer's Market makes the Park Home, April through October and a performance stage is being added to that site this year. 

The Prairie Grove Library, at 881 W. Buchanan, is a large, spacious, facility, great for a place to relax with a book.   The library offers a variety of children's programing, meeting space, study space, genealogy research, public computers, and has separate space for kids as well as adults. 

The state’s only Civil War Battlefield State Park is located in Prairie Grove and offers miles of hiking trails, a historic driving tour, historic period buildings, a museum, and many special programs throughout the year. On Labor Day, the park hosts tens of thousands of visitors the annual Clothesline Fair, one of the top arts and crafts venues in the South.

Other nearby attractions include Devil’s Den State ParkBob Kidd Lake, and Lake Wedington. Opportunities for camping, swimming, fishing, and just enjoying nature abound. Numerous clubs are available that encourage camaraderie, projects, and local civic pride. The Masonic Temple, Lion’s Club, Women’s Federated Club, Jr. Civic League, Prairie Grove Chamber of Commerce, and Friends of the Library all welcome new members.
