Yard & Garage Sale Regulations

  • $5.00 application fee per sale, permit must be purchased prior to sale
  • Times: between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
  • Only 3 consecutive days are permitted
  • No more than 4 sales within a year

Signs

  • No advertising sign may be placed on a public or utility-owned pole or private pole not owned by the applicant.
  • No advertising sign may be located along a public street where it will affect traffic safety.
  • No advertising sign can be in place for more than 24 hours following the last date of sale.
  • No advertising sign may be placed on cardboard boxing.

Failure to comply with the rules and regulations may result in a ticket from the police department. We do notify the Police Department of Garage Sale Permits.
